Our Curiosity Approach Journey

This is a modern-day approach that fits perfectly in current changing technological times.  Bringing curiosity, awe and wonder into early childhood and creating the “Thinkers and Doers’” of the future.  It is a beautiful recipe book of wonderful ingredients, carefully mixed together with experience, passion and a love of early childhood. The Curiosity Approach aims to empower and ignite passion and excitement within us the practitioners, giving us the tools and knowledge to enable us and our setting to create beautiful play spaces and environments for your children.

It’s the special way that we see things that helps create an exciting transformation, enabling us and our environment to guide the children to be curious, have fun and make a difference. To not just see an everyday item but to understand that it is an object of curiosity with its own mystery and story.  Where potential is bound only by the imagination, an imagination that will be stimulated and grown with our guidance and support.

Play gives children a chance to practice what they are leaning. By exchanging our plastic toys for open ended play and loose part items, every child’s curiosity grows. Through play children will use ‘loose parts’ in a multitude of ways, depending on interests, urges and ideas of the children. Loose parts can be synthetic or natural, they can be as big as drainpipes, guttering or tyres or as small as acorns, pinecones and corks. A child’s imagination will find a purpose for them all.

We are developing the children’s wings to fly, to one day make change.  We, through the Curiosity Approach will take your children on a journey of discovery, wonder and awe in their Early Years.
